January to April
Wow – we’ve been so busy we havent had time to update our website! Sorry guys but hopefully you are all following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram where we have been boasting about our best bits to date. Notably lots of love going into our next few releases – Launceston and surrounds, Newcastle and surrounds, Canberra and surrounds and Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. Going to print VERY soon…

We had an awesome 4-day event at Life In Style in Sydney at the Hordern Pavilion where we moved and shook with the best-of-the-best in Retail. Lots of orders and great feedback so we were so chuffed, we are doing it again in Melbourne in August! We hope to see you all there. We also went down the Aisle at the Bridal Fair ‘One Fine Day’ where we oohhed at all the brides who were looking for some inspiration for their big day. If they were having a destination wedding or looking for some hens weekends or hooneymoon ideas – that’s where we came in.

And in news just in – we are now stocked in the MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in The Rocks, Sydney along with the uber cool design store ‘Bristol and Brooks’ in Sydney’s Chifley Plaza. Feeling pretty chuffed about these cool spots so next time you need your culture fix – you know where to go to pick up your Whileaway Guide!

4 September 2012 – 7 fab new regions hot off the press in time for the October Long Weekend
Get your hands on 1 of our 7 new regions that have just arrived from the printer. Welcome to South Australia with The Barossa Valley and The Adelaide Hills. In Victoria, take a short break to The Mornington Peninsula or Beechworth and The King Valley. In NSW, Orange and Surrounds is the region of the moment and Sydney’s Northern Beaches could be classified as a perfect ‘Staycation’. Or why not take a few more days and never smile at a crocodile in Darwin and Surrounds. No excuses…..

June 2012 – Heads down….
It’s that time again when we have our heads down and fingers typing madly as we prepare for our next 7 releases – yes 7!! We’ve had a tough time lately (insert sarcasm here) traveling the county to share some hidden gems with you,  all the best places to see, savour and experience. We’re excited to announce some of our previously lonely states will now have guides to get them on the leader board. How about some wine time in the Barossa Valley SA, Adelaide Hills SA and Orange NSW. Snapper time in Darwin NT, gourmet delights in King Valley VIC and Mornington Peninsula VIC and beach time in Northern Beaches, NSW. All soon to be released in August!

Whileaway Guides are proud to be included in this months edition 51 with a spotlight on Australia! 24 October 2011 – Whileaway Guides supports Cancer Australia
Whileaway Guides were proud supporters of the annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast for Cancer Australia in Sydney this morning. A fantastic event that raises awareness and continual support for people and those around them suffering from Breast and Ovarian Cancer.

After 12 months of research and development, we finally pressed the print button and all 10 of our paper babies were delivered at a good weight, healthy colour and ready for lots of cuddles.

16 May 2010 – Whileaway Guides concept born
At sunset, over a glass of Rose, the more we talked about it, the more excited we got. With our love of travel, sense of adventure and eternal curiosity of new places to escape, we were always being asked for tips on places to go, see and savour. Why not package it up and put it in print for all our friends? And the concept was born.
